In 1998, I purchased one side of a mountain in Little Switzerland, N.C. to build cabins and develop a peaceful environment for those people seeking a temporary getaway for some rest and relaxation. I named it Reidar's Retreat
While developing this paradise in the mountains, we discovered that a heavy vein of stone runs right through our side of the mountain. After many years of building and using the stone for accents all around our beautiful mountain retreat for patios, walls, firepits and waterfalls: we decided to open a business called Carolina Falls Inc. which is a stone distribution company that wholesales stone, builds walls, patios, firepits and waterfalls.
The stone found in the North Carolina mountains is exquisite and unmatched. I wanted to bring that beauty to Florida for others to enjoy!
